THE LIMES / 14 New Classrooms Block

This £4.5 million extension to Princethorpe College in Rugby, Warwickshire, provides the school with 14 new classrooms to meet their growing educational demands. The design of the new classroom block was carefully managed to ensure it was sympathetic to the historic buildings on the site, whilst providing modern teaching facilities and quality interior spaces as well as being a link to the adjacent, existing sports buildings. An endeavour to bring enough light into the central corridor resulted in creating a top lit double height space with bridges leading to classrooms.
