MANOR FARM FRANKTON / Conversion of Five Barns

We have recently submitted planning permission documentation for an agricultural barn conversion development in rural Warwickshire. A series of agricultural buildings will be stripped back and transformed into five modern family dwellings, each of them architecturally unique, yet all of them working harmoniously to create a small rural community, based on a design concept which balances the heritage of the local area with modern, contemporary architecture. Using the existing form of the barns, we have utilised the original openings, and created new openings, to seamlessly connect the internal spaces with the outside and make maximum use of the extraordinary rural views that the site offers. Contemporary materials such as zinc and timber cladding have been proposed externally to contrast with the traditional Warwickshire red brick, whilst the interiors offer popular open plan living finished to a high specification, to ensure the development is at the forefront of modern architectural design.
